This is a challenging time as our nation along with the whole world faces the coronavirus pandemic. As Christians we believe God has complete control over all things, and promises to bring good out of bad for those who trust in him. He wants us to fight fear with faith, looking for opportunities to share the good news of Jesus as well as grow closer to him as our frailties and lack of control are so much more evident to us all.
Like many churches in the UK, we are not meeting together as normal at this time. The earliest we expect to gather together in person will be September. Instead, we have a ‘Ministry Continuity Plan’ in place, to ensure we continue to care for church members:
- Our meetings are streamed each Sunday, at 10.30am and the same again at 4pm, each followed by a coffee chat time on Zoom. The meetings are open to anyone, but the Zoom is password protected (sent by email to church family each week). Contact us if you are interested in joining a Zoom.
- Most church members are cared for through what we call “Grace Groups” (including virtual meetings each week by Zoom or similar). Those who are not in these groups are under the direct care of John Martin the Lead Pastor.
- We also have a number of short daily Bible thoughts on our YouTube channel that anyone may view.
